Our second home we host our guest in is located next door to our main place and now serves as a guest home for our friends.
Buda Castle area is a special blend in the city: a green residential area, a lively historical place and a well located urban homestay.
The one-way street we settled in is very quiet. The most beautiful walkways and breathtaking panoramic views of the city located just right above us, on the Castle Hill.
The apartment itself located in a Bauhaus building, on the ground floor.
That’s why it has a garden connection: it is very pleasant to chill outside in the patio, listen to the birds and have some fresh air - especially in the evening.
Our home has a separate smaller bedroom and a large living room, also separable with a four wings door. Plus a dining area, a basic kitchenette, a good size bathroom and the patio.
The interior is a contemporary mixture of the collectables of the Hungarian recent past, vintage style, and high-end quality design items as a Franz Fertig sofa and original works of a Hungarian contemporary artist.
In the bedroom, you will find ironed Zara Home or Next Home satin or cotton beddings. Flying books, sailor dreams and Hungary from the skies.
In the bathroom, there is a bathtub and also a washing machine.
In the kitchenette, you'll find everything for a simple breakfast or dinner.
The home itself featured in home design journal as well.
I recommend this place for couples or small families those are looking for to stay in a quiet place but close to public transport and facilities.
In the evenings and in the mornings you can enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine at the fresh air in the yard, listening to the birds on the huge trees above.
